Travel diary 2013

At 07h.00 we start the day by a walking around ancient stone temples in Mamalapuram. The piano is installed on a cart pulled by 2 bullocks. Clowns and happiness are very present.

We leave at 08h.30 for a slum in Chennaï. Misery and noise are there but we are indeed awaited; the atmosphere is kind but rather hot. We give all that we have while also taking care, as some of us can also feel a sort of potential violence.

Later on a team finalizes the transit back to France: the piano is packaged in its crate, and is entrusted with other equipments to the forwarding agent.

A meeting is organized in the evening in order to share the last informations. We also share our personal feelings about our Caravan, what we liked or did not like the most. Then we thank one another for these beautiful days spent together.
